Cold weather brings more complications for Azov Sea shipping. Azov Sea shall be covered with ice for next two weeks if forecasts are true. In this situation we expect further rates growth as older and non ice compliant tonnage should be out of market for winter period. Good coaster rates over Black Sea may keep small shipping companies alive even without calling Azov Sea. Recent storms are causing shipment delays for all exporters and risk of non-execution for chartrers who hires older tonnage is very high due to forthcoming ice restrictions.
